It has been a strange spring. The tulips emerged, and then we had three small snow squalls, but they survived. The first snow was about 5 or 6 inches, so I covered the tulips with plastic until it melted. The others were smaller and didn't last very long. Lots of them have buds, but the first two bloomed yesterday (April 19, 2005).
