I found it odd that they were in PA and NY before sighting one here.
One spotted in Yonkers NY in March was very interesting.
This area didn't have much in bloom at that time however I always put one feeder up the first of April for North bound traffic and any that might want to settle here.
I spotted the young male hovering over my flowing pools then he went to the feeder. More should be arriving soon and the turf wars will start. It appears he will be here for the summer and I can get some good photographs of him and others as I do every year.
