The oriole tried to drink from my hummingbird feeder. So I promptly went to the fridge, cut an orange in half and put it in the tree in my front yard. I was so excited becuase I had not seen an oriole ever. I grabbed my birdbook to verify. Sure enough, it was a Bullocks Oriole. I have been sitting at the window for an hour now. Hoping I get a another glimpse.
