Male ruby throated hummer visited my deck, buzzed me for nectar feeder which had been present last year from prior owners. When no nectar appeared the hummer settled into a nearby tree and waited about ten minutes.
Two adult "bright" colored monarchs fluttered over my truck and appeared to be testing leaves with feet. I've seen no milkweed plants yet. Lots of wildflowers blooming, redbud tree, dogwood tree, flowering crab, lilac.
