Went out to check my pea plants yesterday & saw that both my a. syriaca and a. tuberosa had sprouted! No sign of the a. incarnata yet. Seems like usually I start seeing milkweed around Mother's Day--guess it liked its blanket of snow! Butterflies I've seen so far in CT: cabbage whites, spring azures, clouded sulphur, mourning cloak.
