We planted tulips in 5 diffrent areas with 4 tulips in each spot. One of the groups planted their tulips under an apple tree by the driveway;tulips are up six inches. The tulips under a big tree by the road, away from buildings are blooming! No tulips are up away from the school in grassy areas. In our flagpole garden, which has been our official one over the years, tulips are up six inches. We wonder if the fact the snow is piled on the garden makes them slower. But then, why haven't the ones in the grassy areas, away from the building not come up. We will do some more invesatigation of our sites next year! We were probably on vacation when they first came up.
