Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 05/06/2005

Number: 1

After a week of low pressure and NW winds, the pattern finally broke. Yesterday we had strong SW winds reaching up to 30 mph with rain in the early evening. Skies then cleared late, and this morning it is clear and winds are calm. I have been watching and listening and this morning was rewarded with hearing and then seeing my first male Baltimore Oriole of the season at 8:30 a.m.
