Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 05/10/2005

Number: 1

Each spring approximately May 10th many Baltimore Orioles arrive to eat oranges and grape jelly. We enjoy them for about 2 weeks and they they are gone. Where are the headed? Also, last year we spotted an oriole nest in fall when the leaves fell off the trees, but we never saw the Orioles other than the two weeks on May. Also, in previous years they sang alot, but this year they were quite silent.
Am most interested in your reply. We leave on the bluffs of Lake Michigan, near a meadow.
