Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/11/2005

Number: 1

Museum member Wendy Nelson reports she saw a monarch about 10 am in Williamsburg. She reports it was not tattered or worn, but crisp and brightly colored. This is the first report I have from any museum staff, volunteers, or members of monarchs. They usually appear the first week of May.
