We here in Fort Myers have had monarchs all winter. Not a lot just one or two patrolling. Since early spring monarchs have been egg laying continuously. I do not have enough milkweed to feed them all so I take in a few and raise and release them. the ones that are left on the milkweed disappear rapidly after hatching. I'm sure from the little lizards that are so abundant. I feel badly that I cannot raise them all but one can only do so much.
