Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/19/2005

Number: 1

While camped under the wing of our airplane at the Airport at Halls Crossing just 10 miles east of Lake Powell, a Monarch flew through our camp, right in front of my face. I was quite surprised to see it. There are a lot of wildflowers in bloom so lots of necter to feed on.
