We saw a monarch at Holy Hill in Hubertus (Hartford is nearby). At first, it seemed too early so I didn't think it was a monarch when we sighted it from a distance but it slowed down enough and sure enough, it was a monarch.
IN addition (I will report this separately), we have two milkweekd plants in our yard and both are COVERED with eggs, probably 8 on one and 10 on another--roughly estimating. This is in the city of Appleton, WI.
