Noticed large number of Monarchs on flowers of cotoneaster bush. Had seen occasional single butterfly around yard within last week or so, but not in quantity seen this afternoon (3 p.m. PDT). First time ever noticed what must be "monarches in migration" feeding on that bush, and bush is 35+ years old! Awesome. Visited your website looking for picture to verify they were indeed monarchs. After reading "midwest" sighting reports, decided to add one from California.
