I'm so thrilled to finally have spotted my first ruby-throated hummingbird of the season. It's been very cool and rainy for a week and today was almost 80 and sunny - spotted him in my garden at 8:30, just twilight. He was busy at the flowers and only used my feeder to perch on, he did not drink.
