Greetings from Ontario,
Following your email I did some exploring along a nearby rail trail and yes,
milkweed leaves are just beginning to unfold...saw a couple dozen plants
about 6 in. high at this point with leaves just opening. Unfortunately no
monarchs to report yet, but will keep watching.
