Yesterday my wife and I searched approx. 80 healthy plants which ranged in height from about 3 inches to 10 inches, some of which had developing flower heads. None of them contained any Monarch ova. No adults were seen either. We saw only one Cabbage White and one Sulphur in about 2 hours on a beautiful, warm and sunny afternoon. This was on the same day in 2004 when we found our first Monarch ova in the same area of L'Amoreaux Park here in Scarborough.
