Just lucky to be glancing out my kitchen window and there it was - a Monarch checking out my garden. I just stared non-believing. Nothing is blooming there but further away I have planted some marigolds with blossoms. The Monarch circled around and I hope it was a she as it seemed to be looking over my milkweeds. Will have to check tomorrow for eggs. What a wonderful sight as it has been 7 months since the Monarchs have been in my garden. Winter just lasts too long here!
