I live in Walnut Creek California, due northeast of San Francisco. Today, we saw hundreds of monarchs flying through out backyard- 5-10 at a time all day. We have lived here for some time and have never seen this type of migration. They never stopped and all were flying south-west of us. Truly amazing day !
