As predicted, with temperatures over the past few days
reaching close to 80 F, and lots of lilac shrubs in
bloom, migrating monarchs were spotted today.
A farmer ploughing a field at
Waterdown, Ontario near Hamilton at the west end of
Lake Ontario, hopped off of his tractor to....take a
rest!...and spotted a monarch at 4:47 pm.
