Our fourth and fifth monarchs of the year appeared today--the first time we have seen two in one day. Both were in the Shakespeare Garden on the Northwestern University campus. The first appeared rather faded. The second was much more vibrant and stopped to feed on a deep pink rose. Temperature was in the upper 80s and the day was very humid.
