This was the first time this season that I had seen one in my own yard. The milkweed is in full bloom just waiting! The Monarch was flying around all of the milkweed, lantana and other flowering plants. Just waiting to find the first egg or caterpillar. My grandson and I enjoy raising the caterpillars in a hatchery and releasing them together. He will be coming into town in a week...so hopefully will our monarchs for the season.
