I saw my first Monarch today. Yesterday I asked a nursery
employee if she had seen any Monarchs, she had, three days before,
which would make that Wednesday, June 8th. I spotted my first milkweed
patch, so I'll keep my eyes open for them a little later in June.

We are so close to the coast, the Monarchs probably headed inland after
crossing the bay, if in fact that is how they come to Maine.
