Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/16/2005

Number: 1

Summer's off to a great start this year!!! I was in our prairie garden late afternoon when I saw a beautiful Monarch butterfly fly at high speeds right through the yard and over the fence. I knew it was a Monarch, but saw it so fast...! And then today (June 18th) again in our garden late this afternoon another beauty (the same one?) flew through the yard, but this time more leisurely and closer to me, so I had a good look at it! What a delight to see these butterflies again!!! :)
