Observed two new 3rd instars today and one new egg in
addition to the two 4th instars last week. I'm
beginning to get encouraged for this season. Last
year I had virtually no monarch production the whole
summer.

I observed two cats on my milkweed last Sunday, a 4th
and 5th instar. Observed three Monarchs that day, one
a bright, fresh male.
