Although my friend saw a Monarch on 6/11 as previously reported, and I have 10 eggs which hatched on 6/20, today
was the first day for me to actually see a Monarch myself. It is beastly hot and humid here - it was about 95 degrees when I saw her. She didn't appear to be laying eggs, but instead nectared at blooming common milkweed.
