About 4:00 PM we were sitting in our yard and noticed a female monarch butterfly feeding on our butterfly bush. She would feed for a few minutes, circle about and then come back. This went on for about an hour. She also went to our common milkweed flowers one time, but we didn't find any eggs. Last year, we didn't see one until July 21st.
