I saw a female monarch flying near my house and she was laying eggs on some milkweed. It was a sunny and warm day (32 degree celcius.)I took the leaves containing eggs to a scientific summer camp so that the children could watch its cycle. The caterpillar are now 13 days old so I figure that they will make their chrysalis soon.
