I work at the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center located on Wellesley Island in the St. Lawrence River (4 miles east of Alexandria Bay) and have yet to see an adult monarch this year. I however was hiking in the western adirondacks near East Pitcairn (about 20 miles west of Star Lake on route three) and saw two monarchs today!
