I inspected approximately 30 milkweed and observed two to three eggs on many. I spotted 7 newly emerged caterpillars from the eggs. I will continue to check the milkweed daily. I have not spotted many butterflies this summer, but did see a few several weeks ago. I have not seen any butterflies for two weeks.
