I was in the Garden & noticed a Large butterfly passby. I went to the front of the house where the milkweed is located & discovered a very large female Monarch Depositing eggs on Asclepias fascicularis. She few around for a good 10 minutes depositing eggs. Interesting note, she did not deposit on Asclepias curassavica, Asclepias incarnata, or Asclepias speciosa. This Monarch only wanted to deposit solely on Asclepias fascicularis! First sighted Monarchs, eggs & cats in Strawberry,Ca near Sonora 120 miles east of my location on July 6th '05 & they finally arrived here today!
