I have been reading that the Monarch's are late this year, in Ohio they have been right on time. I found the first eggs on July 10th and the butterflies began hatching on Aug 4. I have released 5 females and 8 males so far. I have about 80 eggs and 60 caterpillars, various sizes, in aquariums. I am getting units of the different stages ready for several teachers to use in their classrooms in our local schools.
