I noted my first Monarch laying eggs on July 23rd. I have all stages of Monarchs with new babies hatching at all times of the day. I have put netting around the milkweed leaves and using a twistie tie to keep the Monarchs safe. Last year I did not have any Monarchs and so I am thrilled to see so many this year. As I was jogging today I watched three different Monarchs fluttering along my route. It has been an incredible summer here with many butterflies.
