Our students were excited to find several eggs and a few larvae on our milkweed this week. We had been in our classroom garden cutting fennel for our swallowtail caterpillars and spotted the monarch larvae. We had been looking, but missed them earlier! We adopted them and they are munching happily on our milkweed in the large butterfly "condo" in our classroom. We are journaling and measuring their growth daily. What fun!
