We have seen sightings of Monarchs in our area about 2-3 weeks ago. They feed on our zinnias and then lay eggs on the milkweed in our area. Today, I scoured the milkweed and foun 9 caterpillars of various sizes. I will take them to my classroom to watch the progress and then after the Monarchs hatch, we will release them.
