We have written a grant and received money to build a butterfly garden. It is about 250 sq. ft. and in the shape of a butterfly. It has both nectaring and host plants for monarchs. We also raise and tag monarchs. In the last 2 years we have tagged over 200 monarchs. So far,(in 2005) we have tagged 55 monarchs but will tag about 100 before the end of the month. This is also our first year to actually have monarch eggs and caterpillars in our garden!
