I can't believe it, but on Saturday I found a bunch of caterpillars on my milkweed. This is quite late for this area. I'm at pretty much the northern limit of the monarch range. Most monarchs have started migrating, so these guys are going to be really behind! September can be quite warm during the day, so they have a chance, I guess. Maybe this is global warming in action, who knows?
