I have collected 25 caterpillars and eggs during the last two weeks in Waterford and all but 5 have formed chrysalises. Friday my first grade class collected 3 more eggs and one caterpillar in New London, and as I was picking milkweed today in Waterford, I found 15 more eggs! This is more than I have ever found. I am seeing monarchs regularly in my home garden in Waterford and in my school garden in New London - usually 3 or 4 at any given time.
