Large numbers of migrating Monarch butterflies.
While waiting my turn in line on the Detroit end of the bridge and only
the 3rd car back, I lost count of the Monarchs flying across toward
Windsor. Point Pelee also had a good number. Also present were two
Giant Swallowtails. I am sure there were others, but I was paying more
attention to the birds.
