School started on August 29. Students began collecting monarch instars and bringing them to class. As of today we have tagged four monarchs and we are waiting for five of them to hatch.
Next week we will walk to the community milkweed habitat bed/nectar flower bed that was planted in the spring by last year's sixth graders. This is a routine we have practiced for the last five years.
