Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/14/2005

Number: 1

WOW! In our rural town park at about 7:15 pm, after a wonderful cold front came through bringing a north breeze, several HUNDRED monarchs! The orange beauties were everywhere in the park. Most where already settled down to roost, but many were trying to find just the right spot. I had not seen that many in quite a few years! It was an incredible sight!
