Saw three deer while out for a hike just after dawn. I was shocked to see they already have their silvery coloring for fall. We had a very intense hot spell so this was a bit incongrous. I thought it seemed a bit early. I've also noticed that I've not been hearing robins either in town or out in the woods. Seems early for that too. Hmm...
