Last evening many thousands of dragonflies were migrating through my area, Lafayette, Indiana. The 'brood' was approximately 2 square miles and were observed from 6 to 7 PM local time. Many nighthawks and swallows were on feeding frenzes. Is this a normal route? I have never seen this many in any area.
