Spectacular arrival of Monarch Butterflies! At their peak they hung so thick on the trees it looked like frosting on a cake!

Monarch Butterflies continue to linger; larger numbers today.

September 22
We have an overnight Monarch roost here on our historic property in Saint Joseph Missouri. We have had anywhere from 200 or so Monarchs to perhaps 1000 roosting overnight now for 3 days. Very Exciting!! The Monarch Butterflies filled the trees this morning and this afternoon they are gone.
