Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/22/2005

Number: 1

I've been reporting for about 7 years and have never seen as many monarchs as I did today. They have been all around my garden, but I was amazed to find 10 on a large goldenrod plant. In previous years (not counting the last few when we saw none) we saw one here, one there. I think I can actually call this part of the migration. It's very exciting.
