Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/27/2005

Number: 1

Having a nice flow of Monarchs stopping to nectar in my yard since Sunday. Yesterday was a wonderful day, temp in mid 80's with a light easterly wind. I had around 50 Monarchs in my yard nectaring.

Most heavily used nectar plants were Tropical MW, Mexican sunflowers, Mexican flame vine, and Salvia Indigo spires.

Off to a great season in Kingfisher, Okla. Hope that there's more to come.
