Have been tagging around 4-8 per evening the last 10 days or so here in eastern Kansas. Observed an increase in monarch numbers on Sunday the 25th and tagged 28. On Monday, I saw quite a few but had none in my trees, which was strange. Today, monarch numbers increased both here and at Osawatomie, Ks., had largest groups roosting so far with numerous clusters of 15-30 monarchs. Was able to tag 83 this evening.
