Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/28/2005

Number: 1

Flying into a 10 mph headwind at 11:30 am, I would estimate about 200 or 300 in a 30 minute period. Never done this before and didnt have any plans of it. Was just a cool observation at lunch break. Me and a buddy were amazed at how many. They seemed to deal with the headwind very well. They number may be higher but dont want to over estimate. I think it was higher. They were everywhere. Hope its of use.
