Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/27/2005

Number: 1

We had hundreds of monarchs arrive to our
backyard Tuesday, September 27th and they were still here last night. We
live on the main street in town and have been having them grace us with
their presence since the late 1980's. We have more this year than last
year, but not as many as some years past. I just heard from two friends,
one who lives on the west side of Lake Graham who has many hundreds and
another who lives about 8 blocks east of us who has a few. This seems early
for us; usually it is in October that they arrive.
