The monarchs and a few other butterflies began roosting Thursday evening and again Friday in all my pecan,live oak trees and my neighbors about one mile away. We live out in a farming community. I took pictures to share with my third grade students since we are beginning to study life science. On Saturday morning they did not leave until noon or a bit later. Maybe because of the wind or the cool morning.
