Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/01/2005

Number: 1

Spending the weekend on our property we took a walk through our woods this afternoon and as last year the woods were full of floating Monarchs. There were some trees where they were bunching up together. It was impossible to count the floating ones, but it was a wonderful sight seeing all those floating and fluttering butterflies. I am going back in there in the morning. There was a fairly powerful storm system last night it might have been part of this sighting as there are many more then last year.
